Airsoft Bachelor Party!

Postby Dilandau87 » Thu Sep 05, 2013 9:03 pm

Yup. You read right. My name's Tom, and I'm getting married. Simple as that. My request: People to come shoot at the Grooms and groomsmen, and for us to shoot back.

When? The 29th of September.
where? Splat Action:
32155 South Grimm Rd
Molalla, OR 97038
Requirements: It's outdoor mayhem. Bring whatever you'd like. Everything form high-quality AEG's and Sniper Rifles, to your garden variety spring pistols. This isn't meant to be serious--it's a celebration and is meant to be plenty of fun. So long as you're comfortable with being shot with tiny beads of plastic, you're welcome.

If you've got radios, binoculars, grenades, Rocket launchers, flags--we'll find a use for it. The only vital thing? A goofy sense of fun.

No, sadly. All of my monies are currently going to preparing the wedding. Cost is $15 per head. However, I'll be bringing ammo for all to use, along with my smart charger for those who need to charge a battery or two before a game.

Thank you! My hope is that along with the groomsmen, I can have some awesome community members to celebrate with. Mollala can be a ways out, but I've done paintball there before, the fields they have are lots of fun. The more people, the better, I think.

Have fun getting shot by paintballers. I've never had an event where there weren't paintballers playing regardless of if we had the field to ourself. That was one of the shitty things about splat action. That and the people falling through buildings.

And Raddue falling on an axe.... Good times. Good times.

Likely we'll arrive early, 10-10:30, and playing will likely start around 11:00-11:30, depending on how many cats I can herd at once. As for camping, sorry. Single day event. A post-day dinner will likely be a followup, however.

Okay! This week is the week! We've got the guns and people for a small game, but the more the merrier! Come celebrate. As stated before cost should be 15 per head, though I'll have equipment, bbs, and goggles/radios. If you have any of your own equipment, feel free to bring them along!

To those concerned about the weather: We're still going through with the party. I've talked to SplatAction, and they'll provide some covered areas, and steer us towards covered/wooded areans, in an effort to keep us dry. It'll still be a little wet (this is Oregon, after all) so if you can, skip the tennis shoes, and think boots. Same goes for short sleeves and shorts. Pants and light coats/hats are suggested.

The more the merrier, and if you have extra kit, bbs' guns--it's all fair. I'll bring my smart charger, and extra AAA batteries for those with radios.
