[OP] Operation White Jindo 4; The Eastern Campaign

On behalf of the Praetorian Guard Airsoft, I would like to express a big "THANK YOU" to all the operators that RSVP and actually came; and to those that did not RSVP but came ....THANK YOU!!. Despite of all the no shows and not getting enough participants, we were able to run an outstanding event. It proves that it is not the quantity of personnel but the quality of it's event that in the end makes the difference. Also a big "Thank You" to the CADRE that step up to the call and made it fun for everyone. Last, but not least, I also want to express a special "Thank you" to all the instructors that conducted the classes (SGT. Bostick, SGT. Dawson, CPT. Echols, Navy Veteran Trevor Comstock, SGT. Metz, 1stSGt. Swift). Thank you!!!

Please take the time to write up an AAR for Operation White Jindo 4. It is my goal to make this annual event better each coming year and only your input can facilitate that process. Hooahhhh??? Once again Thank you and hope to see each one of you next year for another episode of....Operation White Jindo!!!!

It can be hard to get people to show up to an event. Usually word of mouth or people respected by the community (not always respect-worthy people, but we are airsofters, so we are scoundrels) attending an event and giving their personal opinion of the event.

I would suggest more pictures, video and images from past events, more graphical information on the field, and removing the requirement to post, register and organize the event on a personal website. A lot of people on AP are lazy and want to do things only on this forum. They probably have a lot of other forums they check out (see: Weeaboos) and that probably stopped a lot of people from "giving it a try".

Thank you Darius for the sincere input. Praetorian Guards host only 1 game per year..Operation White Jindo has been our Trademark Event for the last 4 years. We are not really too concern about the amount of operators attending. We do it as a contribution to the airsoft community. As far as respect is concern...well we all served our nation (in the military) and 50% of us are Purple Heart recipient. I guest you can say that we get respect from each other. We do skirmish once a month within the area of Fort Lewis and we welcome anyone that would like to join us and listen to our war stories (and drink beer). Again, Thank you and hope to see you down range someday. Hoooahhhh!!!

I've seen it posted before, but I've never really seen it taken in with support from AP. Largely due to the marketing of the event. I'd like to go to the game but because I've never really seen a complete presentation for the games on AP, I've never taken the thought into serious consideration when I have other games that put more details into their AP presentation. It's something that I've noticed bothers me a lot. A lot of good games come up on AP, but are not marketed correctly to the AP type.

Respect is due for the military service, but don't forget that this is airsoft. Respect in the airsoft world is earned in the airsoft world. People here might or might not care about the military history of people, which is perfectly fine. I am also a combat veteran. But first and foremost in the airsoft world I am an asshole, and that is my reputation in airsoft.
