I had some fun today guys, too bad I had to leave early for work. Thanks Ivan for use of the field and hosting the game. I have to say that the small squad of wannabe elite Navy SEALs on Yellow Team made my enjoyment of playing today a little less. Gentlemen your conduct was less then stellar. on two separate occaisions your squad shot me in the arm/hand that was waiving my dead rag after I had clearly yelled "HIT!" turned my back and was moving from cover back to spawn. You need to work on your target identification and trigger control as you annoyed and angered several seasoned and respected players today with your lack of tact and consideration.

I would like to address your complaints against my team.
I am aware of at least on of the occasions that you are referring, to with regards to members of your team getting hit after they had their death rag out, sorry bout that. Frome the angle you were standing at I did not see your death rag do to a tree in in my line of sight; also do to the fact that you were about 40 meters away from me, I did not hear you call hit.
That being said I do not appreciate the condescending and mean spirited tone of your post. My team has been togeather for nearly 6 years, you are not the only "seasoned Players" on the field; also we are probably one of the few teams that actualy dose target practice, we do not have a problem with fire discipline, it dose not take us half a high cap to take out are targets. In the future if you have a problem with me or any members of my team, I would appreciate it if you would talk to me about it on the field or PM me. If your goal is resolve an issue, going on the forms and trash talk us is not the way to do it. I have been shot countless time with my death rag, on it is part of this sport.
Again I am sorry for the hits issue, I hope we can resolve it next time.

Had a great time out there, Silverton games are always fun.

I do have one concern though and this that several people on the yellow team were taking their eye pro off at the spawn point despite the briefing before the game and me telling them to keep them on. I know a majority of people do know this but for those that don't, EYE PRO NEEDS TO BE ON AT ALL TIMES WHILE ON THE FIELD!! (yes even at spawn points)

I beg to differ, beside the "...wannabe Navy SEALs" bit my post is not mean spirited nor condescending. It was a statement of my opinion based on my perspective of factual events. Those being, 1. My being hit by a BB then calling hit, 2. After roughly 5 seconds(time to safe my weapon and retrieve deathrag) turn around and stick my hand with deathrag out from cover before moving out from said cover. 3. being shot in the very hand/arm holding the deathrag.
all of this X2

The only target presented was basically a bright red handercheif, which I was subsequently SHOT in.

Also I tried to speak to the team responsible but they ran off before i made it up the hill to speak with them. Also when told by admin that only one flag could be carried by a single player the squad responded in a less than understanding and not quite 'congenial' manner. Truthfully I am not certain I am even speaking of your squad as these actions are not congruent with what I know of your team and the character of the people on it. I also recognize you usually and I don't remember you being in that encounter. Otherwise I would have PMed you. The only reason I spoke out here is because I didn't recognize the people nor did anyone around me (Switch, Cypher, and a few others)

Ok,
Well it sounds like we are starting to clear up this situation.
Like I said before; I am sorry for the time I was aware of, that some of you got shot after you were out. I talked to my guys about it. They said that they were having trouble telling when someone was out in that particular encounter.
maybe you and I can talk the next time we see each other at an OP. To see if we can come up with some ideas, of things we can do to help with people being identified as being out. So we can avoid this situation in the future.
I understand that getting hit after you are out is very frustrating; and gets tempers flaring. Again I am sorry, it was not our intent to shoot anyone after they are out.
With regards to the flag miss communication. We were unaware of that rule; as soon as we heard it being shouted out, I took one of the flags and one of my men took the other. This is how we carried them for the rest of the time till be got back to our CP.
I am sue we can work this out, so that both our teams have a good time at the next OP. We all play this sport to have fun; and being ticked off at each other, is not all that much fun to be honest :-)
See next time, and we will figure this out :-)
