Ok guys so I have gotten a request for another Personal Security Detachment (PSD) convoy security class at S4 in Hillsboro. With the upcoming challenge I am obliged to agree that it will help with an over all better event. If any one was present for the class that was given last Thursday, you can chime in and attest to what we did. It is the same class both days, starting around 6 (1800) and will go as late as you can stay but ending NLT midnight (I kid you not, I train for proficiency not just to train). If you miss one you can come to the other.

We will cover a little bit of everything, route planning, responsibility's, react to ambush, ect.
The last class went really well and every one took a lot away from it.

The class room is a free class provided for anyone who wants to attend, but the dry training in the arena is $10 per person. We will go through an actual react to an ambush from a real vehicle where we will go over every scenario until YOU understand what to do.

There will be ZERO shooting. This isn't about trigger time, this is about learning something to make your self a more affective person.

Needs:
Bring whatever weapons you will be using at the event. Preferably a hand gun, as long rifles will have to be stored in the trunk and will not be readily accessible (short rifles that can be worn under a trench cote will be allowed; compact UZI, mack 10-11). Remember, if you don't bring it, you won't have it to use. We will not be providing any weapons at any time.

Dress business like, full tac gear is fine but remember we are moving in the US. (think finely dressed body guard not kitted out thug). People freak out when they see armed men in uniform. We will be spending a lot of time getting in and out of cars so if you have troubles moving with the kit you have, plan accordingly.

If you have any questions, call S4 Tactical at 503-476-9444.

Yeah, Crimmins is locked down for both days, and the initial iteration was excellent.
