wilsonville facility

Postby surfertim88 » Sun Sep 11, 2005 10:41 pm

ok, ive been talking to ym team, and we've been very anxious about playing at the facility in wilsonville. if there arent any plans soon to have a game there, then is there any type of permission we have to have in order to hold a small event ourselves? any info would be great, thanks

You all need to be either individually insured (and provide proof of insurance) or, purchase an insurance policy that will cover you playing there... and get the underwriter to finish it before they demolish the place.

I don't mean to piss in your Weaties, man, but look at it this way:

APST has not been able to get a game going there. We have numerous people over the age of 30 who were working on it. One of our team members is a lawyer, numerous were (or are) active duty military and our team leader is a police captain and runs a SWAT team. Between all of us, we have connections everywhere.

With resources like that, we haven't been able to nail down the facility. Now ask yourself this: do you really think you can get a game going there?

Question: Why can't we just do a Liability Waiver?

well, obviously if APST hasnt been able to play there, then why would we get to just go around it all? if they dont have permission, then we cant get a waiver

Because the company that owns the property REQUIRES insurance. A liability waiver is not insurance.
